... was today. I tried to configure a sattelite dish. I found a curious Android app named SatFinderAndroid uses (probably?) GPS and gravity sensors from the phone to find out the relative position of the satellite. The amazing thing: it has a thing called "Sky View", which uses your camera, and shows you the horizon line and the position of the satellite on-the-fly.
Of course, there are other apps, like Sternatlas, that use the same technique.
Fuck yeah! This is amazing. Imagine what else we could do if we managed to develop such technology not only for warfare.
